Join us Sunday at 10:30 AM. All are welcome!!!
WELCOME! First Presbyterian Church is a diverse and creative community of faith. We exist to worship God with open minds and passionate spirits, and we invite you to join us on a spiritual path that values questions and seeks to put our Christian faith into action in our Tiffin community. We trust one another to study the scriptures, grow in faith, and follow Jesus’ example the best we are able.
- Sometimes this means we are gathered in worship.
- Sometimes this means we are advocating on someone’s behalf in our community.
- Sometimes this means we are praying for ways to live out God’s presence to others in this world.
Take a minute to look around our site, and please join us Sunday mornings for worship, where we celebrate God’s presence in our communal life!
Office Hours: Monday – Friday 8:30am-4:30pm
Adult Sunday School: Sundays at 9 AM. Jim and Bonnie Boroff (substitute Karen Michiak) will be teaching using materials from The Wired Word. Join us in the church parlor.
Worship Service: Sunday at 10:30am – Childcare is available, though not required (ALL children are welcome in worship!), with paid staff who have been thoroughly trained and have a background check.
Children’s Sunday School: Children up through grade are welcome to stay in the nursery for the entire worship service. Following “A Time to Worship with Children,” toddlers and preschoolers will have a formal Sunday School class in the nursery. With parents’ permission, children in grades K-4 are invited to leave the worship service following “A Time to Worship with Children” and attend an elementary-based Sunday School class in the room next to the nursery. Children who remain in worship (both at the beginning or for the full service) will be learning about worshiping God by participating in worship. We LOVE including children in worship with us!
More for Children! Children ages 2 through 5th grade are invited to attend FAITH SCOUTS on Wednesday nights from 5:30 – 7 pm! This is a high energy children’s program geared to helping children learn about the Christian faith and put it into action. Children of all backgrounds are invited to attend. Membership in the church is not a requirement for attendance. Snacks will be served weekly. Each class will have two adults in leadership and middle and high schoolers are invited to help as well.
